It's almost here and I am feeling ready, sort of. My bags are packed and it looks as though I'll fit in most of what I think I'll need. People have asked me when I'm going and when I say "Monday" it doesn't seem real. I've been in touch through email with Annie's wego and already I feel welcomed. It seems as though I have a family in Gulu. I just haven't met them yet. "Commencement" took on a whole new meaning for me today. I am commencing alright on a trip of a lifetime!
